Current clinical work involves evaluation and treatment of community mental health and forensic populations. Interested in diagnosis and treatment of co-morbid disorders including anxiety disorders, depression/bipolar disorder, trauma, personality disorders and substance abuse disorders. Other interests include work in attention and cognitive learning disabilities/ADHD. Experience in community mental health, hospital and primary care settings, triage/emergency room evaluation. Focuses also include effect of family dynamics, culture, immigration/assimilation stress and social systems/ on mental health. Dissertation research in the role of hopefulness, self-efficacy and personal agency with residential substance abuse treatment clients.
Previous experience as executive for national public health and literacy organizations. Diverse experience in business operations including marketing, event management, training/education program development, financial review and board/stakeholder relations.
